Before going to graduate school, Meghan instructed experiential wilderness courses for Outward Bound. During her ten years as wilderness educator, Meghan witnessed too many people limited from living their fullest life due to chronic pain and/or illness. Dietary changes and acupuncture helped her recover from her own struggles with chronic digestive illness and pain from chronic injuries. This experience helps Meghan relate with patients and fuels her commitment to finding effective, individualized treatment plans.
Beyond natural medicine, Meghan enjoys outdoor recreation, gardening, keeping honeybees, and spending time with her beloved husband and daughter.
Peng Her, Licensed Acupuncturist
Peng is licensed in Acupuncture by the Minnesota Board of Medical Practice. Board certified by the National Certification Commision for Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine (NCCAOM). Earned his Masters degree in Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine from the American Academy of Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine (AAAOM).
Peng’s unique form of qigong and meditation aims to cultivate one’s body-mind connection. He conducts many lectures on these topics and is featured in Taking Charge of Your Health, a program put together by the University of Minnesota: Center for Spirituality and Healing and the Life Science Foundation.
As a lifelong martial artist and spiritual truth-seeker, I’ve been researching and self-experimenting in hopes of attaining enlightenment. Of the 20 plus years I’ve been involved martial arts and my spiritual awakening, I’ve unlocked mysteries and discovered many shortcuts to my path and the paths of others.
For 10 years now, I’ve been publicly demonstrating my ability to embody the theory. Where others attempt to persuade through words, theory, and academia, I demonstrate those theories and then explain them later. To me, embodiment demonstrates a deeper understanding that very few can grasp.
